ACCESSIBLE WAYFINDING PROJECT

Students in Context & Process were tasked with creating a signage and wayfinding system— with a focus on those who cannot take the stairs— for the Harmon Fine Arts Center building on Drake’s campus. Students engaged in design research methods (interviews, photo-ethnography, visual anthropology, user testing, etc.) with faculty, staff, and other students to establish, produce, fabricate, and install a cohesive wayfinding system.

The project was published in the Interdisciplinary Journal of Wayfinding and Signage.
